Well, it has just been too long since I updated this website! I have been busy getting used to my non-academic lifestyle and living in a more rural setting. All of it is wonderful and I am filled with gratitude. Along with consulting work I continue to offer health coaching and women’s health consultations so don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of help.
Speaking of things that I am grateful for, I was asked to join the latest retreat for the IHeLP class at the U of Az Center for Integrative Medicine recently. It was so inspiring to be a part of an interdisciplinary group of folks who are learning about integrative health and embracing all that the field has to offer. I have been a mentor for a self care group in each of the classes since the inception of the program. It has been amazing to witness the personal and professional growth of the students over the 6 month program. For those of you that are not MDs, IHeLP might be a good program to check out.
I’d also like to encourage you to check out our 7th Annual IM4US conference coming up in August. We have a timely topic this year focusing on Equity and Healing. As Chair of the planning committee I can tell you we have a wonderful conference planned for Chicago this year, please come join us! All disciplines, allopathic and non-allopathic are welcome and encouraged to be a part of our community.
